Art Prints

Using our Epson 9600 pigment ink jet printer we can print on either a heavyweight cotton rag paper or cotton canvas.

The authentic artist canvas features a subtle feel and random texture for greater perceived value. This canvas type is available in both a bright white for the reproduction of photographs or a natural certified zero optical brightener version for the reproduction of fine art. Modern 100% cotton products are made from seedless cotton canvas and are complaint enough to be finger stretched over wooden frames.

The cotton canvas types have been fade tested with pigment inks and achieved light stability of greater than 80 years.

The canvas is then framed using Australia's first stretcher bar designed for inkjet printable canvas. Made of plantation grown New Zealand pine, is 32mm deep by 42mm and features a 6mm radius fully rounded top edge that completely eliminates inkjet canvas cracking.
The radius is smooth with no ridges that cause the weave to come apart showing white lines.

With a profile of 32mm x 42mm (left), these bars are finger jointed for strength.

The stretcher bars are not Australian hardwood timber (Eucalypts such as Vic Ash or Tassie Oak) or non-regrowth Asian rainforest timber (Meranti). Many of these products contain larger amounts of tannin or tannic acid, which may be detrimental to archival (acid free) products.

In addition to the acidic content issue, the use of non regrowth forest contributes to global warming and climate change.

100% cotton rag papers are coated with a natural white layer for the reproduction of fine art. The surface colour and texture is consistant with that of the original artist materials. We can obtain a range of textures from the more subtle types to the highly textured cold pressed varieties.

These 100% cotton rag papers are all acid free and archival, some are pH buffered for additional protection against attack from acidic air pollutants.
